Operations Manager – JetSet Aviation

JetSet Aviation is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Athens International Airport.

This is a senior position and previous aviation experience is essential . We are looking for someone with a strong background in aviation operations or ground handling, combined with proven experience in managing people and day-to-day operational activities.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall coordination and performance of the Operations team, working closely with Ramp, airport stations, handling partners and company management.

Main responsibilities include:

• Managing and supporting the Operations team

• Organising staff schedules, shift coverage and operational resources

• Overseeing daily flight handling and operational coordination

• Monitoring flights, handling arrangements, slots, PPRs and service confirmations

• Coordinating with Ramp, airport stations and external handling partners

• Handling operational disruptions, complex requests and escalations

• Maintaining good working relationships with clients, crews, airport authorities and suppliers

• Ensuring company procedures, safety standards and service requirements are followed

• Monitoring operational performance and identifying areas for improvement

We are looking for candidates with:

- Substantial previous experience in the aviation industry

- Previous experience in an aviation management or operational leadership position

• Strong knowledge of airport operations, ground handling and flight coordination

• Proven people-management and team leadership skills

• Experience with staff scheduling and resource planning

• Good judgement and the ability to make decisions under pressure

• Very good command of Greek and English

• Flexibility to work within and support a 24/7 operational environment

Experience in General Aviation, Business Aviation, VIP handling and Greek airport operations would be a strong advantage.
