Operations Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Directs and coordinates activities of business or departments concerned with operations.
• Manages Project Managers and/or Senior Manager to provide work schedules and assigning projects to be handled.
• Reviews construction budget, manpower/equipment allocation, activity reports and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
• Establishes and implements departmental policies, goals and objectives, and procedures, conferring with other manager, organization officials, and staff members as necessary.
• Determines staffing requirements and train new project employees, or oversee those personnel processes.
• Monitors manpower to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed services while staying within budgetary limits.
• Oversees activities directly related to providing services.
• Coordinates company’s financial and budget activities related to operations, maximize capital expense and increase efficiency.
• Analyzes operational or management reports or records, and organizational operating practices or procedures.
• Develops management control systems.
• Handles complaints, settles disputes and resolves grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiate with others.
• Prepares and submit operations reports to the General Manager.
• Responsible for project implementation and over-all management of the project (mobilization, staffing, project timeline, progress report, client communication, and sub-contract for large scale projects).
• Responsible for setting objectives, planning strategy, establishment of goals, planning the organization structure, recruitment of required staff for the project, establishing procedures, establishing measures for performance.
• Provides advice and reviewing the construction project cost estimation, drawings, technical specifications, problems and issues of a project.
• Conduct negotiation with contractors on work modification to establish equitable prices realistic time allowance for modified and additional work.
• During construction phases, ensures contractor compliance with contract schedules, plans specifications, etc., identifies actual or potential problems and determines necessary for changes.
• Provide guidance and advice for safety and quality of the construction project.
• Review work performance of Project Managers and Senior Manager.
• Help in reviewing and evaluate work performance of subcontractors
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the General Manager & Higher Management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• with PRC License in Mechanical or any Engineering Field preferably but not required holder of a Master’s Degree in Engineering
• Minimum of ten (10) years experience in construction field, on the job training, computer literate.
• with trainings in Project Management, Leadership, Risk Management.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Any part of the Luzon and Visayas

Pay: From Php45,000.00 per month
