Operations Manager

Solaris is an Edmonton Area-based company providing landscaping, grounds maintenance, asphalt repair, snow and ice management, cleaning, and facility services to commercial clients. What You’ll Do

• Lead and support field teams across multiple client sites and service areas
• Coordinate daily schedules, crews, equipment, materials, and priorities
• Work alongside the team and jump into field work when extra support is needed
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, on time, and to a high standard
• Conduct site visits and quality checks and address issues as they arise
• Communicate with clients and respond to day-to-day service needs
• Support hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
• Coordinate seasonal snow and ice operations, including winter weather response
• Help improve processes, organization, and efficiency as the company grows
• Support new projects, contracts, and other operational needs as required

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience leading crews, teams, projects, or day-to-day operations
• Experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, construction, snow removal, cleaning, or similar field-based work
• Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
• A hands-on attitude and willingness to work in the field when needed
• Ability to manage changing priorities and make decisions on the go
• Valid driver’s licence
• Equipment operation experience is an asset
• Ability to work flexible and on-call hours during winter weather events
