Operations Manager

Boston Burger Company - Boylston St. is seeking an experienced and organized Operations Manager to support daily restaurant operations and help ensure efficient, consistent service. This role involves coordinating staff, maintaining food and service standards, supporting inventory and supply management, assisting with customer service, and helping improve daily operational workflow. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills and is comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and service activities.
• Coordinate staff assignments and workflow throughout each shift.
• Support and guide front-of-house and kitchen team members.
• Monitor food quality, order accuracy, cleanliness, and customer-service standards.
• Assist with employee training, onboarding, and coaching.
• Handle routine customer questions, requests, and service concerns professionally.
• Monitor food, beverage, packaging, and restaurant supply levels.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, organizing, and restocking supplies.
• Support POS operations and routine cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked restaurant areas.
• Help maintain efficient dine-in, pickup, takeout, and delivery order flow.
• Support opening and closing procedures and daily operational checklists.
• Help identify and resolve routine operational issues.
• Communicate staffing, supply, and operational needs to restaurant leadership.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, workplace, and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, food-service, or operations experience.
• Previous supervisory, shift-lead, or management experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Dependable, professional, and comfortable taking responsibility.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good attention to food quality, cleanliness, and service details.
• Familiarity with POS systems, inventory procedures, and restaurant operations is helpful.
• Able to train, support, and work effectively with a restaurant team.
• Strong problem-solving and customer-service abilities.
