Operations Manager

Transportation & Logistics Operations

• Manage the overall day-to-day trucking and logistics operations.
• Ensure timely dispatch, delivery, and completion of customer requirements.
• Monitor fleet utilization and maximize operational efficiency.
• Coordinate closely with Fleet & Maintenance, Warehouse, and Customer Service teams.
• Develop operational plans to meet company targets and customer expectations.
• Ensure efficient route planning and vehicle deployment.

Driver and Operations Team Management

• Lead and supervise Dispatchers, Route Coordinators, Drivers, Helpers, and Operations Personnel.
• Monitor manpower deployment and productivity.
• Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and employee development activities.
• Address operational issues, employee concerns, and customer escalations.
• Promote discipline, accountability, and operational excellence across the team.

Customer Service and Client Management

• Ensure service delivery commitments and turnaround times are consistently achieved.
• Work closely with clients regarding operational requirements and concerns.
• Handle customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

Operational Performance Management

• Monitor and analyze operational KPIs.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
• Ensure optimal truck turnaround time and delivery efficiency.
• Create action plans to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the operations department.

Safety, Compliance, and Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Monitor driver compliance with company procedures and road safety requirements.
• Investigate operational incidents, accidents, and customer complaints.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate operational risks.
• Ensure all operational records and documentation are maintained accurately.

Budget and Cost Control

• Manage operational expenses and departmental budgets.
• Monitor fuel consumption, manpower costs, and operational expenditures.
• Recommend cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
• Work closely with Finance and Management in evaluating operational profitability.

Reporting and Strategic Planning

• Prepare operational reports and performance reviews for Management.
• Provide recommendations to improve efficiency, service quality, and profitability.
• Support business growth initiatives and expansion plans.
• Participate in strategic planning and operational decision-making.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Transportation Management, or any related field.

Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Logistics, Transportation, Trucking, Hauling, Distribution, or Supply Chain Operations.

At least 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.

Strong understanding of:

• Trucking and transport operations
• Dispatch and route planning
• Fleet utilization management
• Logistics and supply chain processes
• Driver management and scheduling
• Customer service operations
• Operational KPI management
• Cost control and budgeting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling fleets of 20+ trucks and transportation personnel.
• Background in logistics, freight forwarding, trucking, hauling, distribution, or transport services.
• Knowledge in transport safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficient in using Transportation Management Systems (TMS), GPS Monitoring Systems, and operational reporting tools.

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php70,000.00 per month
