Purpose:

Responsible for business operations for the region, through a team of Construction Managers to ensure safety, compliance, timely execution of operations and financial achievements as per plan. To oversee and optimize the overall operations of a department or market within ITG's construction division, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and alignment with company goals in telecom, broadband, and power industry projects.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational plans and policies for construction projects in the assigned market to ensure execution of projects within time, cost and service standards.
• Manage budgets and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and profitability.
• Monitor the progress of multiple teams or projects, including supervisors in aerial and underground construction to ensure project execution within the agreed standards.
• Analyze operational data and implement improvements to positively impact the bottom line.
• Provide and organize training, ensure certification of employees/ business partner employees to ensure compliance with regulations, company standards, and safety norms across all projects.
• Manage vendor and business partner relationships to support smooth project execution.
• Develop and track KPIs for operational performance and continuous improvement in project execution.
• Resolve complex issues in the market, including customer interactions for damages or claims.
• Train and develop potential successors as part of ITG's internal promotion philosophy.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and project delivery.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field

Experience:

• 5 to 7 years of experience in telecom construction operations management
• Proven track record of process improvement and team leadership
• Experience managing multiple projects or teams simultaneously

Exposure:

• Experience with budgeting and financial management in construction projects
• Knowledge of telecom industry trends and best practices
• Understanding of both aerial and underground construction methodologies
• Familiarity with construction management software, equipment and tools
