Are you an experienced Operations Manager, Senior Project Manager or Regional Manager looking to take ownership of a portfolio of complex infrastructure projects?

We're partnering with a leading contractor delivering projects across the Defence, Energy, Civil and Infrastructure sectors and are seeking a commercially astute leader to drive project performance, client relationships and business growth.

This is an opportunity to step into a senior leadership position with genuine influence across project delivery, tendering, team development and strategic growth.

The Opportunity

Reporting to senior leadership, you'll oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects while providing direction across operations, commercial performance and client engagement.

You'll play a pivotal role in securing new work, mentoring project teams and ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Lead tendering, estimating, forecasting and project reporting activities

✅ Drive project profitability through strong commercial management and cost control

✅ Build and maintain long-term client relationships across Defence, Energy and Infrastructure markets

✅ Oversee delivery of complex civil and construction projects in highly regulated environments

✅ Promote a strong safety culture and ensure HSEQ compliance across all operations

✅ Lead, mentor and develop Project Managers, Engineers and site teams

✅ Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth and repeat work

About You

To be successful, you'll bring:

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or relevant Trade Qualification
• Proven experience delivering major Defence, Civil, Energy or Infrastructure projects
• Strong commercial acumen with expertise in budgeting, forecasting and contract management
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams
• Exceptional stakeholder management and client-facing skills
• Strong understanding of risk, compliance and regulatory requirements
• Experience with HV infrastructure, utilities, fuels, pipelines or industrial projects will be highly regarded
• Natural leadership ability with a track record of developing high-performing teams
