The role

As Operations Manager, you will make sure Cirkel's Swiss operations run to the highest standard through the winter season - picking, packing and fulfilling rental orders; processing returns, laundry and repairs; coordinating deliveries with hotels and logistics partners; and looking after customers when they need help.

This is a seasonal, part-time contract designed to fit around other seasonal work (or skiing!). Hours are concentrated in the busiest weeks and agreed in advance where possible, so it may suit seasonaires who want a reliable base of hours alongside other resort work. You'll report to the Head of Operations Switzerland.

Key responsibilities

• Picking, packing and fulfilling rental orders accurately and on schedule
• Processing returns, including laundry and repair
• Carrying out local deliveries and collections (Verbier region only)
• Warehouse duties including inventory checks, quality control, cleaning and maintenance
• Flagging stock issues, recurring faults and process problems with the Head of Operations
• Where necessary, support liaising with customers, partners, and delivery providers

Essential skills and experience

• Reliable and organised, able to work through a task list accurately without close supervision
• Comfortable dealing directly with customers, and able to stay friendly under pressure
• Working proficiency in English, both written and spoken (French is a bonus)
• Physically able to do warehouse work - being on your feet a lot of the day, some lifting
• Available for the winter season, including weekends and changeover days
• Swiss work authorisation, or eligibility to obtain it
• A valid driving licence
• Based in or able to commute reliably to Val de Bagnes through the winter

Value-added skills and experience

• Some experience in a hands-on operational role - warehouse, logistics, retail, hospitality, rental or events
• German, Italian, Portuguese (or any other languages)
• A driving licence and confidence driving in winter and mountain conditions
• Previous seasons worked in a ski resort, and familiarity with how resort weeks and changeover days run
• Knowledge of ski and outdoor clothing - brands, sizing, fit, materials and care
• Experience with an order management, inventory or ticketing system
• Experience with garment care, repairs or laundry processes
