OPERATIONS MANAGER

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join AQUADYSINC in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing and optimising the day-to-day operations of our construction business. As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient project delivery, maintaining safety standards, managing resources effectively, and driving operational excellence across all construction activities. This role is integral to our success and directly impacts our ability to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all construction operations and project activities to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to optimise efficiency and profitability
• Supervise and coordinate teams including site supervisors, foremen, and field personnel to ensure productive workflow
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, compliance procedures, and environmental regulations across all operational sites
• Monitor equipment maintenance and procurement to ensure availability and optimal condition of construction machinery and tools
• Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to verify work quality, safety standards, and regulatory compliance
• Liaise with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to address operational challenges and provide progress updates
• Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness
• Analyse operational metrics and implement improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs
• Prepare operational reports and documentation for management review

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction operations management or a related senior operational role
• Proven expertise in managing large-scale construction projects and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams
• Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations, compliance standards, and best practices
• Excellent project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
• Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams at all levels
• Problem-solving ability and decision-making skills under pressure
• Knowledge of Philippine construction regulations and local building codes
• Certification in occupational health and safety (OSH) or construction management is highly desirable
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to conduct regular site visits
