Are you an experienced Operations Leader with an engineering background and a strong track record of driving business performance, leading teams and delivering measurable results?

At Ingram Micro, we are looking for a results-driven Operations Manager who can translate business objectives into operational excellence, develop high-performing teams and optimize performance in a complex operational environment.

This role requires a leader who combines strategic thinking, business acumen and strong execution capabilities to drive productivity, cost efficiency, quality and organizational performance. The successful candidate must be comfortable engaging with operational teams while also presenting results, risks and recommendations directly to senior leadership, including Directors and Vice Presidents.

🔧 What you'll do

As an Operations Manager, you will oversee operational performance, lead teams and ensure business objectives are achieved through effective execution, data-driven decisions and continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities will include:

• 👥 Lead and develop teams: Establish clear goals, priorities and accountability while developing talent, strengthening leadership capabilities and building a high-performance culture.
• 📊 Drive operational performance: Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, quality, cost, efficiency, service delivery and overall business performance.
• 🎯 Translate strategy into execution: Convert business objectives into operational plans, measurable targets and actionable initiatives that deliver sustainable results.
• 💰 Manage costs and resources: Optimize workforce allocation, operational capacity, resource utilization and expenses to improve efficiency and support business goals.
• 📈 Lead continuous improvement: Identify performance gaps, eliminate inefficiencies, streamline workflows and implement sustainable improvements across the operation.
• 🤝 Drive cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Quality, Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain and other functions to resolve challenges and achieve shared business objectives.
• 🧠 Make data-driven decisions: Analyze operational trends, identify root causes, assess risks and develop practical solutions to complex business challenges.
• 🗣️ Communicate with executive leadership: Present operational results, business risks, improvement initiatives and strategic recommendations directly to Directors and Vice Presidents.
• 🚀 Support business growth: Evaluate operational capabilities, anticipate resource requirements and implement plans to support scalability, productivity and organizational effectiveness.
• 🦺 Ensure operational discipline: Promote accountability, compliance, safety and consistent execution of established policies and procedures.
• ⚙️ Oversee a technically complex operation: Apply your engineering background and analytical capabilities to understand operational challenges, evaluate alternatives and drive effective solutions without losing sight of broader business objectives.

🎯 What you bring

We are looking for an Operations Leader first, with a mandatory engineering background and strong business management capabilities.

You bring:

• 🎓 Engineering degree (required): Bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline, including Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Manufacturing, Systems or other relevant engineering fields.
• 🎓 MBA (plus): A Master of Business Administration (MBA) or any other finance/leadership training is considered a strong advantage.
• 🏭 Relevant experience: At least 5 years of experience in operations, with progressive leadership responsibility and demonstrated ownership of operational results.
• 👥 People leadership: Proven experience leading teams, developing talent, managing performance and establishing accountability.
• 📊 Operational management: Demonstrated ability to manage KPIs, productivity, operating costs, quality, capacity, efficiency and resource allocation.
• 💼 Business acumen: Ability to understand business priorities, evaluate trade-offs and make decisions that balance operational performance, cost and organizational objectives.
• 📈 Continuous improvement: Experience leading initiatives involving process optimization, Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, DMAIC or similar methodologies is highly valued.
• 🗣️ Executive communication: Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with senior management, including Directors and Vice Presidents, and present operational results, business cases, risks and recommendations.
• 🌎 Advanced English (mandatory): Advanced English proficiency is required and will be assessed as part of the recruitment process. The successful candidate must be able to participate in executive discussions, present results and defend recommendations in English.
• 🤝 Stakeholder management: Ability to collaborate across functions, influence decision-making and align different teams around common business objectives.
• 🏢 Industry experience: Experience in manufacturing, electronics, refurbishment, logistics, distribution or another complex operational environment is highly valued.
• 💡 Leadership mindset: A hands-on, business-oriented leader who can move seamlessly between strategic discussions with executives and operational execution with frontline teams.
