Operations Manager

Position Summary

The Operations Manager will play a vital role in driving operational excellence, supporting executive leadership, and scaling our business operations. Based out of Katy, Texas, this role requires an on-site presence when not traveling. You will spend approximately 50% of your time traveling to visit, audit, and optimize existing store locations, as well as lead the logistics and execution for opening new stores.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management and Arcade Equipment

• Lead and oversee daily business operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot arcade machinery, gaming equipment, and sports simulators to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime across all locations.
• Develop, implement, and optimize operational policies, procedures, and performance standards across all locations.
• Manage budgets, resource allocation, and operational expenditures effectively.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with department leaders to streamline processes and improve cross-functional performance.
• Identify operational risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.

Leadership & Strategic Planning

• Partner with executive leadership to establish and execute organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across operations and business development functions.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Drive change management initiatives and organizational growth strategies.

Multi-Unit Store Support & Expansion (Travel Component)

• Coordinate and execute store visits (up to 50% travel) to evaluate store performance, audit operations, and mentor store-level teams.
• Oversee the successful opening of new retail/sports locations, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and brand standards.
• Align field operations with corporate objectives to maintain consistency and high customer satisfaction across all venues.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience (3–5+ years) in operations management, multi-unit retail/entertainment management, or arcade/amusement facility management. Direct, hands-on experience with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of arcade machinery and technical equipment is required.
• Location & Travel: Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Katy, Texas area. Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time for store visits and new location launches.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry up to, but not limited to, 30 lbs (e.g., equipment, inventory, or promotional materials during store visits and openings).

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
