Overview

We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Operations Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth, efficient service. This role is perfect for someone passionate about retail management and customer service, with a knack for leadership and organizational skills. As an Operations Manager, you'll be the driving force behind maintaining high standards, managing staff, and optimizing store performance.

Duties

• Lead and supervise the retail team to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales goals.
• Oversee inventory management, including stock control, purchasing, and merchandising to maximize profitability.
• Manage daily store operations such as cash handling, POS system usage, and cashiering to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to foster a knowledgeable and motivated team.
• Handle recruiting efforts by interviewing candidates and selecting qualified personnel for various roles.
• Implement operational procedures related to pricing, sales management, and store merchandising to enhance customer experience.
• Maintain organizational standards by supervising shift management, scheduling staff, and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations.

Experience

• Proven management experience within the retail or food service industry, preferably with supervisory or assistant manager roles.
• Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, and team management.
• Familiarity with POS systems, inventory control tools, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and cash handling procedures.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases.
• Demonstrated leadership in retail sales team management with excellent communication skills.
• Experience in retail math including budgeting, pricing strategies, and sales analysis.
• Ability to effectively train staff on retail store product knowledge, operational management practices, and customer service standards.
