Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of online travel agency to ensure efficient service delivery, smooth coordination of travel arrangements, and customer satisfaction. This position manages operational workflows, supervises staff, coordinates with airlines, hotels, travel suppliers, and business partners, and ensures compliance with company policies and applicable online travel industry regulations. The role also focuses on improving operational efficiency, resolving service-related issues, monitoring team performance, and supporting the company's business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily online travel agency operations, including bookings, reservations, ticketing coordination, and itinerary preparation
• Ensure efficient implementation of operational procedures and service standards
• Identify operational issues and recommend process improvements to minimize errors and delays
• Assign tasks, monitor team performance, and ensure achievement of operational goals
• Provide coaching and guidance to improve employee productivity and service quality
• Maintain effective relationships with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other travel service providers
• Coordinate reservations, travel arrangements, schedule changes, cancellations, refunds, and other supplier-related concerns
• Ensure prompt and professional handling of customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests
• Resolve escalated concerns involving bookings, itinerary changes, cancellations, and other travel arrangements
• Ensure compliance with company policies, applicable travel industry regulations, and government requirements, including DOT accreditation requirements

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 5–7 years of relevant work experience, preferably with a strong background in online travel agency operations
• Proven experience in online travel bookings, reservations, itinerary coordination, ticketing, and tour operations
• Knowledge of online travel agency operations, booking procedures, and online travel documentation
• Familiarity with airline reservation systems, online booking platforms, or travel management systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets or Google Workspace
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure

Salary Offer: To be Discussed

Work Arrangement: 100% On-site

Work Location: Ortigas, Mandaluyong City

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturdays work
