BLOXR Solutions LLC is a Salt Lake City, UT manufacturer of scatter radiation protection aprons, serving hospitals and imaging centers nationwide. The Operations Manager leads day-to-day manufacturing operations — production scheduling, quality, materials, and staff — reporting directly to the CEO. This is a hands-on, floor-facing role for someone who can turn process gaps into fixes and keep a small production team running smoothly. BLOXR is currently transitioning from QuickBooks to Apparel Magic as its ERP system; the new system will improve efficiency, and the Operations Manager will help set it up and ensure operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations, scheduling, and workflow to meet order deadlines
• Supervise and coordinate production and warehouse staff, including scheduling and performance management
• Monitor product quality throughout manufacturing and enforce QC standards
• Work directly with our Salt Lake City sub-contractor of our core material to improve the quality of our most critical raw material
• Manage inventory and raw materials, including ordering and stock levels
• Help set up and implement our new ERP system (transitioning from QuickBooks to Apparel Magic) and ensure it delivers operational efficiency
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase throughput and reduce waste
• Coordinate with sales and customer service on order status and delivery timelines
• Maintain compliance with workplace safety standards and manufacturing best practices
• Track and report key operational metrics (production output, on-time delivery, return rates)

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in operations management, business, industrial engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, ideally in a small-to-midsize production environment
• 2+ years of experience supervising production or warehouse staff
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple priorities on the floor
• Working knowledge of inventory management and production scheduling
• Proficiency with standard business software (spreadsheets, inventory/ERP systems)
• Experience in medical device, PPE, or textile manufacturing preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 lbs regularly on the production floor

Position Details

• Reports to: Julia Jacobson, President & CEO (who is remote but tries to be in Utah monthly)
• Direct reports: Production and warehouse staff
• Employment type: Full-time, on-site
• Location: BLOXR Solutions LLC, 2250 S 1300 West, Ste C, West Valley, UT 84119
• Schedule: Standard business hours, with occasional flexibility to meet production deadlines. This may need to vary at the start to meet all of our employees as they work different shifts. There are people on-site from 6am-10pm typically. We plan to assign “mini managers” for when you are not on-site.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: ~ $60,000/year, depending on experience. Eligible for performance-based bonuses.
