We are an energy and logistics-focused company supporting LNG distribution in Singapore and expanding into Bio‑LNG and waste‑to‑energy projects.

We are setting up our Johor operations hub and are looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to lead operational execution, cross-border coordination, and office setup.

🔹 Role Overview

You will take ownership of Johor operations, acting as the key link between Malaysia activities and Singapore HQ.
This role combines logistics leadership, operational execution, and team setup in a fast-growing environment.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Setup & Execution

• Lead the setup of Johor operations, including systems, vendors, and workflows
• Establish efficient operational processes and controls
• Act as the main coordination point with Singapore HQ

2. Logistics & Cross-Border Operations (Core Function)

• Manage end-to-end import/export logistics for LNG, Bio‑LNG, equipment, and materials
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and regulatory authorities
• Ensure compliance with Singapore–Malaysia trade regulations
• Monitor shipment schedules, delivery performance, and costs

3. Bio‑LNG & Project Operations

• Support execution of waste-to-energy and Bio‑LNG projects
• Coordinate vendors, site logistics, and operations
• Maintain documentation and operational reporting

4. Team & HR Management

• Recruit and set up a local operational team
• Manage onboarding, HR administration, and external workforce (including foreign workers)
• Handle work permits, employment passes, and regulatory requirements

5. Finance & Administration Oversight

• Oversee operational expenses, invoicing, and cost tracking
• Liaise with accountants, auditors, and financial service providers
• Monitor budgets and ensure statutory compliance

🔹 Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field

• 5–8+ years in operations/logistics/supply chain roles

• Strong experience in:

  • Import/export logistics
  • Cross-border operations (Singapore–Malaysia preferred)
  • Vendor and stakeholder management

• Experience in energy, industrial, or logistics sectors preferred

• Knowledge of the Malaysian labor and regulatory environment

• Able to work independently in a fast-paced, setup environment

• English required; Mandarin is an advantage
