Operations Manager

Heritage Tile is a company of dedicated professionals making a difference by creating beautiful spaces and restoring historical places all around the world. We are redefining how tile is designed, produced, promoted and distributed.

The Operations Manager is responsible for day-to-day fulfillment — purchasing, inventory, warehouse, made-to-order production, shipping and quality — and for leading the team that makes sure every order ships complete, correct and on time.

Role

• Purchasing and inventory control — stocking orders, ERP inventory and stock levels
• Warehouse and transportation — daily fulfillment, freight partners and returns
• Made-to-order production — scheduling, supplies and our new MTO facility
• Quality and continuous improvement — quality standards, corrective action and packaging
• Safety and compliance — OSHA compliance and staff training
• Team leadership — hiring, training and SOPs for the warehouse and production team, plus escalation support for customer service
• Vendor management — supplier, freight and packaging partner relationships, performance and rates

Requirements

• 5+ years in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing or supply chain operations, including 2+ years supervising an hourly team
• Hands-on purchasing and inventory control in an ERP system — POs, cycle counts, physicals, reorder points
• Experience managing LTL, parcel and freight-forwarder shipments, including international imports
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and a record of running safe facilities
• Clear writer who documents processes and trains others to follow them
• Comfortable on a warehouse floor; able to lift 50 lb

Preferred

• Odoo ERP experience
• Background in building materials, tile, stone or other heavy, breakable goods
• Light-manufacturing or made-to-order production experience
• Quality systems or continuous-improvement training (Lean, Six Sigma)
• Forklift certification; bachelor's degree in operations, supply chain or business
