Operations Manager

About the role

An experienced, proactive, and results-oriented Operations Manager to support the Operations Head in overseeing, coordinating, and monitoring the Company's nationwide operational activities. The position plays a vital role in ensuring the effective implementation of operational plans, company policies, standard operating procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements across the Company's branches, facilities, plants, and related business units. This position requires a hands-on leader with strong coordination, analytical, problem-solving, and people-management skills who can translate operational directives into measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Head in overseeing and monitoring the Company's nationwide operations, including branches, LPG plants, warehouses, facilities, and other operational units
• Coordinate with Regional Operations Managers, Branch Managers/OICs, engineers, and concerned departments to ensure the timely and effective execution of operational plans and directives
• Monitor operational performance, identify bottlenecks and recurring issues, and recommend corrective and preventive actions
• Conduct operational assessments and branch/site visits as necessary to verify compliance with company standards and identify opportunities for improvement
• Monitor the effective and safe operation of LPG plants, warehouses, facilities, and equipment in coordination with the responsible personnel
• Coordinate with Logistics, LPG Supply, warehouse personnel, and branches to support the timely and efficient movement and availability of LPG, industrial gases, cylinders, and other operational materials
• Assist the Operations Head in monitoring compliance with applicable laws, government regulations, industry standards, permits, licenses, and company policies relevant to assigned operations
• Support the implementation of safety programs, risk-control measures, emergency preparedness procedures, and business continuity plans
• Assist in developing, reviewing, updating, and implementing operational policies, memoranda, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and operational guidelines
• Work closely with department heads, Regional Operations Managers, Branch Managers/OICs, engineers, and other operational personnel to address issues and improve coordination

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• At least 5–8 years of relevant experience in operations management, preferably in LPG, industrial gases, manufacturing, plant operations, logistics, distribution, or a related industry
• Previous supervisory or managerial experience handling multiple operational functions, facilities, or branches is preferred
• Knowledge of LPG plant operations, cylinder handling, supply and distribution, warehouse management, equipment maintenance, and operational safety is an advantage
• Familiarity with applicable regulatory requirements, permits, licenses, safety standards, and operational compliance
• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and operational reporting
• Willing to travel to company branches, plants, warehouses, and project sites as required
• Able to work under pressure, manage competing priorities, and respond effectively to operational challenges
