What they need

Company Overview

Glen Eden Sun Club is a premier family-oriented nudist resort and RV park located in Southern California. We provide a welcoming environment for members and guests from around the world to enjoy nude recreation in a safe, friendly, and inclusive setting.

Glen Eden Sun Club is a private membership club in Corona, California. It is a nudist resort and a residential community. The members own the club and elect the Board that administers policy. We cover 150 acres with approximately 300 residents, approximately 1,500 members and about 35 employees. The grounds include long-term resident sites, club-owned rental units, a cafe, pools, recreation facilities and a full calendar of events. Members, residents and guests are nude in the pool areas and throughout the common areas, and our staff work everywhere on the property. We are telling you this first because it is the part people want to know and because it matters. You need to be fully comfortable in that setting. While on duty, employees shall not be nude. If you are comfortable here, the rest of this is a facilities job with unusually good people around it.

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Operations Manager to lead our daily resort activities, oversee staff management, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. This role involves coordinating various operational functions, managing team performance, and maintaining the smooth running of all resort services to uphold our standards of excellence.

You are responsible for the condition of the property and for the people who look after it. You report to the club President.

Duties

  • Maintenance, housekeeping, grounds and landscaping, maintenance of club rental units, RV storage, laundry, waste and pest control.
  • A written preventive maintenance program covering everything from well pumps and pool equipment to door hinges, with real schedules and a record of what was done.
  • The club-owned water, sewer and electrical systems serving every resident site, and the permits, testing and reporting that go with running our own water and wastewater.
  • Capital projects and rental unit renovations, from scope and budget through contractors to completion.
  • A maintenance supervisor, a housekeeping supervisor and their crews. Select, train, schedule, evaluate, correct and develop your subordinates.
  • The club’s safety program and the emergency equipment and alarm systems.
  • The operating and capital budgets for your departments, and the monthly reporting that goes with them.
  • We run the work in Monday.com. Part of this job is making that real, so that the history and condition of the property live in a system instead of in somebody’s head. If you have used a platform like it rather than ours, we will train you on ours

Skills

  • What we are looking for:
  • Experience running maintenance, facilities or property operations, with a budget for which you were accountable.
  • Experience managing a crew directly: selecting, scheduling, training, correcting and evaluating hourly staff.
  • Experience building and running a preventive maintenance program, not just responding to breakdowns.
  • Experience taking capital projects or major renovations from a budget through contractors to a finished result.
  • Familiarity with work management platforms such as Monday.com, enough to build schedules and work orders and run reports from them.
  • A service mindset. Our residents live here. You will field questions from members.
  • A valid California driver’s license and an insurable driving record.
  • We do not require a degree. We care about what you have run.
  • Join us as an Operations Manager to lead a vibrant team dedicated to creating memorable experiences for our guests while ensuring the seamless operation of our resort!
  • Nice to have • CFM, FMP or CMRP certification. • Certified Pool/Spa Operator. • OSHA 10 or 30-hour General Industry.

Pay: $84,900.00 - $99,900.00 per year

Benefits:

  • 401(k)
  • Dental insurance
  • Health insurance
  • Paid time off
