Operations Manager

Media City Credit Union is seeking an experienced, results-driven Operations Manager to serve as a key member of our leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position plays a critical role in the day-to-day management of the credit union and helps drive operational excellence, regulatory compliance, employee development, member service, and strategic growth.

This position serves as the leader of branch operations and is responsible for ensuring a high-performing culture, strong internal controls, efficient processes, and exceptional service to our members.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily credit union operations, including member service, teller operations, and back-office functions.
• Recruit, coach, develop, and lead staff to achieve operational, service, and sales goals.
• Develop, maintain, and improve operational procedures, internal controls, and business continuity practices.
• Ensure compliance with NCUA, DFPI, BSA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the Credit Union's Compliance and Security Officer.
• Lead process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, reduce risk, and improve the member experience.
• Monitor operational performance, branch activity, service metrics, and staff productivity.
• Manage projects from planning through implementation and follow-up.
• Support strategic planning initiatives and organizational goals.
• Attend Board and committee meetings and provide reports and recommendations to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of financial institution experience.
• Minimum 3 years of management experience within a financial institution.
• Knowledge of credit union operations, products, and services.
• Knowledge of NCUA, DFPI, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience with policy development, project management, and employee development preferred.
• Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Office applications.

Pay: $66,500.00 - $75,898.00 per year
