Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, people-first Operations Manager to lead our high-volume food manufacturing facility, overseeing both the Production and Warehouse departments. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will drive operational performance, improve efficiencies and ensure seamless operations from raw materials through to finished goods. We are looking for an engaging, hands-on leader with exceptional people management skills who can inspire and develop teams, foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and uphold the highest standards of food safety, quality and workplace safety.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee both the Production and Warehouse departments
• Drive operational excellence from raw materials to finished goods
• Optimise production operations
• Motivate staff and lead a high-performing team
• Champion rigorous food safety compliance

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, Business, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of senior operations management experience
• Experience within a high-volume food manufacturing or FMCG environment desirable
• Proven experience in people leadership and management, with the ability to motivate, coach, develop and lead high-performing teams
• Strong ability to manage employee performance, resolve workplace challenges and foster a positive, accountable team culture
• Outstanding communication, conflict resolution and change-management capabilities
