Operations Manager

WE’RE HIRING: OPERATIONS & FIELD SERVICES MANAGER

Location: Milnerton, Cape Town ( ON-SITE)

Salary: R30,000 per month

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Operations & Field Services Manager to oversee daily operations, manage field teams and ensure efficient service delivery within a busy plumbing and building-services environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong combination of operational management, construction or plumbing-related experience, team leadership and practical problem-solving skills. This role requires someone who can manage the bigger picture while understanding the day-to-day challenges faced by field teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee daily business operations and field-service activities

Manage staff, schedules, workflow and team productivity

Coordinate plumbing, drainage, maintenance and site-related jobs

Oversee vehicles, equipment, tools and maintenance requirements

Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors, customers and internal teams

Monitor work quality, deadlines and customer satisfaction

Assist with operational planning, procurement and resource allocation

Ensure health, safety and service-delivery standards are maintained

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in operations management, site management or a similar supervisory role

• Background in plumbing, construction, building services, maintenance or a related industry

• Strong leadership and staff-management abilities

• Excellent organisational, planning and problem-solving skills

• Practical understanding of site work, maintenance or field operations

• Good communication and customer-service skills

• Valid driver's licence and own vehicle

• Must be based in Cape Town or surrounding areas
