JDMARC Construction Limited is seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to establish effective organisational structures, streamline business processes, and improve operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will develop standard operating procedures, define departmental responsibilities, coordinate daily operations, and implement systems for performance monitoring, accountability, and reporting. Experience in operations management, process improvement, and team coordination is essential. Experience in construction, engineering, or infrastructure will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish operational structures, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Define departmental responsibilities, reporting lines, and accountability systems.
• Coordinate daily operations and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Develop workflows to improve productivity and streamline processes.
• Monitor staff performance, operational targets, and compliance with company procedures.
• Coordinate administrative activities, resource allocation, procurement, and documentation.
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements.
• Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in operations or management.
• Proven ability to develop procedures, workflows, reporting systems, and organisational structures.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate teams, manage priorities, and enforce accountability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational reporting tools.
• Construction, engineering, infrastructure, or contracting experience is an advantage.
