Operations Manager

Our client is a growing jewelry brand focused on producing high-quality pieces. As the business continues to scale, the company is seeking an experienced operations leader to bring structure to the organization, improve execution across production and inventory, and build the internal systems needed to support growth.

Role Overview

We are looking for an Operations Manager to take ownership of the company’s operational foundation. This role will be responsible for overseeing production workflows, managing inventory, and implementing scalable processes across the business. The Operations Manager will work closely with leadership and act as a key driver of organization, accountability, and efficiency.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can both set strategy and execute, and who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment. The position will partner cross-functionally and play a central role in supporting the brand’s continued expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Execution

• Oversee daily operations and ensure alignment across production, inventory, and internal teams

• Build, implement, and continuously improve operational processes to support scale

• Translate business priorities into clear workflows, timelines, and deliverables

• Establish structure, documentation, and performance tracking to drive consistency and accountability

Production & Inventory

• Manage and optimize production workflows in collaboration with internal teams and external partners

• Own inventory planning, tracking, and controls to support launches and ongoing demand

• Identify operational risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies, and implement practical solutions

• Improve communication, timelines, and execution across production partners

Systems & Process Development

• Evaluate and implement tools related to inventory, order management, and internal operations

• Create reporting and tracking systems to provide visibility into inventory levels, production status, and operational performance

• Develop standard operating procedures to support clarity, repeatability, and team alignment

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Partner with creative, marketing, and customer-facing teams to ensure operational readiness for launches and initiatives

• Support customer experience by ensuring internal processes enable timely and accurate fulfillment and communication

• Serve as a central point of coordination across teams, vendors, and external partners

Candidate Profile

• Experience owning operations within a consumer brand, retail, e-commerce, or production-based business

• Strong understanding of inventory management, production processes, and operational systems

• Highly organized and process-driven, with the ability to create structure in growing environments

• Comfortable working in a hands-on role with both strategic oversight and day-to-day execution

• Confident decision-maker with strong communication and collaboration skills

• Interest in jewelry, fashion, or design-driven brands is a plus, but not required

Work Setup & Compensation

• Based in Santa Monica with regular in-office presence

• Occasional travel to Downtown Los Angeles for production-related coordination

• Small team environment with high visibility and direct impact

• Compensation commensurate with experience; details to be discussed
