What they need
We are a cable recovery contractor supporting Comtelecom on projects delivered for Openreach. We are seeking an experienced Operational Manager to lead our field teams, oversee daily recovery operations, and ensure safe, compliant, and high‑quality delivery across multiple sites.
Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate cable recovery teams and schedules
Ensure compliance with Openreach standards and safety requirements
Oversee structured cabling recovery, fault tracing, and inventory updates
Maintain documentation, job packs, and operational reporting
Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
Drive performance, training, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
Telecoms/cabling operations experience
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Knowledge of structured cabling and recovery processes
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Full UK manual driving licence
