Job Summary

Best HVAC Inc. is hiring a full-time Operations Manager to run day-to-day operations for our heating, venting and air conditioning company in Southern Utah. You will report directly to Gia Best, the Owner. You'll run dispatch and scheduling, support our field technicians, handle customer escalations, manage parts and inventory, and track the numbers that keep our service, maintenance and installation work on time and profitable. We serve homeowners, businesses and builders across St. George, Washington, Santa Clara, Hurricane and the rest of Washington County. What You'll Do

• Dispatch and scheduling: Manage dispatch and daily scheduling for service, maintenance and installation calls. Balance technician availability, job priority and emergency no-heat/no-cool calls.
• Technician coordination: Assign routes, track job status, and keep field crews on time and fully equipped.
• Customer escalations: Be the escalation point for customer service issues, complaints and callbacks, and see each one through to resolution.
• Inventory and vendors: Oversee ordering of inventory, equipment and parts. Keep stock levels up on trucks and in the shop, and manage vendor and supplier relationships.
• KPIs and reporting: Track operational KPIs (jobs completed, response times, callbacks, technician productivity and job costing). Report results and recommendations to the Owner regularly.
• Systems and records: Keep customer, job and scheduling records accurate and current in our CRM and field-service software.
• Sales and office coordination: Work with sales and the office team on estimates, installs, maintenance agreements and follow-ups so sold work gets scheduled and completed promptly.
• Safety and compliance: Promote company safety practices. Oversee permits and inspections, vehicle and equipment care, and required licensing and certifications.
• People and process: Support hiring, onboarding and training of technicians and office staff. Help build and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs).

What We're Looking For

Required

• 2+ years of experience in operations, dispatch, service coordination or office management
• Strong organization and multitasking skills, and the ability to reprioritize quickly when emergency calls come in
• Clear, professional communication with customers, technicians and vendors
• Comfort with computers, CRM or scheduling software, email and spreadsheets
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation and the ability to work on-site in Ivins, UT

Preferred

• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical or another home-services or trades business
• Experience with Housecall Pro is a big plus (not required)
• QuickBooks experience
• Supervisory or team-lead experience
• Familiarity with inventory and parts management, job costing and KPI reporting
• Working knowledge of HVAC equipment, permits and inspections
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• No weekends
• Full-time, on-site in Ivins, UT
