Operations Manager - Logistics / Freight Forwarding

About the role

Caroz Asia (Thailand) Co Ltd is seeking to employ an experienced Operations Manager to join our growing team in Bangkok, Thailand.

Working in our central Bangkok office with our team of experienced operators your job will be to be the direct contact between the existing operations team and the Managing Director.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of Thailand fastest growing logistics companies, with a great office culture and environment.

The right candidate will be expected to manage the existing operations team, reporting directly to the Managing Director and help the business continue to grow and be a key member of the team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily ocean and air freight operations, ensuring high standards of service quality, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

• Manage and mentor a team of operations staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback

• Review and verify operational charges, freight costs, fuel surcharges, and accessorial fees to support cost optimization.

• Plan, supervise, and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and minimize errors.

• Develop and maintain strong business relationships with shipping lines, overseas offices, customers, agents, and service providers.

About you

• Thai Nationals only please

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Strong leadership, commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.

• Full industry experience 10+ years

• Strong knowledge of both import and export sea freight and air freight

• 4PL experience would be a benefit

• Fluent in English, speaking, reading and writing

• Good communication skills with all members of the team including overseas offices

• Good relationship building with current staff, clients, service providers

• Cargowise experience a benefit
