Operations Manager (Multi-Site Construction)

We are hiring an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and enforce management's standards across multiple and remote construction sites. This role is responsible for ensuring productivity, discipline, and compliance in manpower deployment, equipment utilization, diesel consumption, and daily reporting. The operations Manager will serve as the field proxy of the VP for Construction Operations and will play a critical role in eliminating inefficiencies and strengthening site performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled rotation visits across all project sites to validate manpower, equipment use, materials and diesel consumption, and actual work progress.
• Enforce standardized workflows, daily reporting formats, and operational procedures across all sites.
• Audit manpower vs. payroll, diesel withdrawals vs. equipment hours vs. actual output or construction progress.
• Implement corrective actions on-site and ensure compliance from site engineers and foremen.
• Train site personnel on proper documentation, workflow discipline, and operational standards.
• Monitor productivity KPIs and ensure each site meets minimum output per labor-hour and per machine-hour.
• Submit weekly operational reports summarizing findings, discrepancies, risks, and corrective actions taken.
• Coordinate cross-site operational consistency and support planning for sequencing, resource allocation, and site layout optimization.
• Uphold company policies, safety protocols and compliance requirements across all sites.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years experience in construction operations, preferably handling multiple sites.
• Strong leadership background with proven ability to manage engineers, foremen, and operators.
• Assertive, confident, and capable of enforcing standards in the field.
• Strong documentation, auditing, and compliance skills.
• High integrity and independence; not tied to existing site culture.
• Willingness to travel frequently across project site locations.
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with productivity metrics.
• Experience resolving operational conflicts and implementing corrective actions.
