Operations Manager – NSW (Onsite Refuelling)

As our NSW business continues to grow, we're looking for the right person to help lead the way.

Role

This is a leadership role for someone who wants more than a title, you'll be the driving force behind our NSW operations, working out of Eastern Creek and reporting directly into senior management. You'll manage people, pricing, compliance and customer relationships, with the autonomy to actually get things done.

A typical week might include:

Keeping the business running

• Completing End of Month reports and Stock Take reports
• Supporting pricing decisions and customer reporting
• Checking supplier pricing across NSW
• Updating the Product Allocation spreadsheet
• Sending dockets and reports to customers on request

Managing the moving parts

• Backing up our NSW Schedulers day to day
• Reviewing driver dipsheets
• Solving operational issues as they come up
• Managing the Saturday and On Call rosters

Looking after customers

• Resolving customer disputes
• Handling credits and recharges
• Running customer inductions
• Working with HSSE on incident investigations

Leading the team

• Approving driver timesheets
• Handling HR matters within the team
• Interviewing, hiring and onboarding new drivers
• Running Toolbox Talks at Eastern Creek

What we need from you:

• Solid background in operations management from within the transport, logistics or fuel industry
• Comfortable leading people and handling HR basics
• A steady head for resolving customer issues
• Strong organisational and reporting skills
• Someone who takes ownership rather than waiting to be told
