Our Client is a leading international investment firm with a strong global presence. The Company specialises in alternative assets and offers a dynamic, professional environment with a commitment to long-term value creation.

They are seeking an Operations Manager – Private Equity to oversee the transactional execution, operational governance and entity lifecycle of the Company's Luxembourg private equity investment platform, reporting to the PE Operations Lead.

Your areas of responsibility:

• Act as senior point of contact for transactions passing through the Luxembourg private equity structures, overseeing execution from initial structuring to closing and post-closing implementation
• Coordinate acquisitions, incorporations, equity and debt funding, restructurings, refinancings, partial and full exits, cash upstreaming and liquidations, ensuring each step is correctly sequenced and documented
• Review and approve implementation plans, fund flows, budgets and payment instructions, in line with the agreed legal, tax, financing and governance framework
• Identify execution risks and dependencies early, challenge stakeholders constructively and drive issues to resolution
• Oversee the ongoing management of Luxembourg holding, financing, SPV and management incentive plan entities
• Take ownership of the entities' accounting and financial management with a hands-on approach, including preparing and posting entries where needed, and overseeing periodic reporting, statutory accounts, audits, tax compliance and cash management
• Review legal and tax structuring proposals from an operational, governance and execution perspective, and oversee the onboarding of new entities (banking, KYC/AML, service provider setup, corporate documentation)
• Act as board representative for Luxembourg entities where required, ensuring board and shareholder decisions are properly prepared, documented and implemented
• Oversee corporate secretarial, KYC/AML and governance matters, and maintain entity records and key governance milestones throughout the investment lifecycle
• Manage administrators, accountants, law firms, tax advisers, auditors and banks, setting delivery standards and resolving performance issues
• Support the PE Operations Lead in strengthening transaction governance, workflow tracking, standardised documentation, controls and operating procedures

Your profile:

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in private equity, alternative asset management, a management company, corporate services or financial services, ideally with significant Luxembourg exposure
• University degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline
• Strong understanding of the private equity transaction lifecycle and of Luxembourg holding, financing and investment structures
• Good knowledge of the alternative investment fund industry
• Proven experience coordinating complex, multi-party transactions and managing internal and external stakeholders through to completion
• Sound financial and operational judgement, with familiarity with fund flows, cash movements, statutory reporting, audit and tax coordination
• Driven, proactive and hands-on, with a structured and efficient way of working
• Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to challenge constructively and collaborate across group functions
• Fluent English, written and spoken
