Operations Manager- Safety and Security

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company's Safety and Security Management System.
• Ensure compliance with DOLE, OSHA, BFP, LGU, and other applicable government regulations and industry standards.
• Lead the implementation of workplace health and safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, security assessments, and compliance audits across all company sites.
• Investigate workplace accidents, security incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop emergency response plans, business continuity measures, and crisis management protocols.
• Oversee security operations, including access control, CCTV systems, guard force management, and asset protection.
• Manage third-party security providers and ensure service level compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments for warehouses, transportation operations, and other company facilities.
• Lead safety awareness campaigns, emergency drills, and employee training programs.
• Prepare and present safety and security performance reports to senior management.
• Coordinate with government agencies, auditors, clients, and external stakeholders regarding safety and security requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to minimize operational risks and promote a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Criminology, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience in Safety, Security, or Operations within the logistics, transportation, warehousing, manufacturing, or supply chain industry.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, occupational safety regulations, and security management practices.
• Experience in incident investigation, risk management, emergency response, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and report preparation.
• Professional certifications in Safety or Security are an advantage.
