Operations Manager ( Warehousing) FULL TIME

To implement the Contract Logistics strategy at our Warehouse Facility in Horizon Logistics Park, with Employees & Customers, with cost optimization a constant focus in conjunction with the key KN stakeholders and managers.

This will include Stock management, cost control, productivity measures to ensure targets are met while promoting high standards of hygiene and housekeeping and ensuring compliance to all Health & Safety requirements.

1. People

• Recruit and train employees on all new employees on each process they will work on.
• Motivate and inspire teams to operate to best in class standards.
• Coaching and developing supervisors and operators.
• Deliver and inspire a best-in-class Health and safety Culture for the site.
• Deliver the operational plan through the provision of clearly defined productivity targets, objectives, priorities, policies and procedures to Dublin Contract Logistics teams.
• Set, measure and report against relevant operational KPI’s, ensuring that gaps are addressed through tracked actions.
• Drive productivity throughput target and implement KPI’s to measure this target.
• Drive & promote the QSHE agenda and accountability within the team across all sites.
• Plan and allocate resources to effectively meet departmental productivity and quality goals.
• Engage and retain colleagues through effective performance management, a focus on development and promoting meaningful engagement with organizational initiatives.
• Communication with teams through daily stand ups /meetings as per company guidelines.

Customer Engagement

• Manage the Dublin Contract Logistics Warehouse function in line with customer agreements and KPI’s, delivering customer excellence at each stage of the customer life cycle.
• Prepare KPI’s for customer meetings, driving the delivery of associated actions and improvements.
• To Host Customer site visits and regulatory Audits as required and close out on any actions as required using the proper channels.

Commercial

• Drive commercial growth through the optimization of existing space and the creation of business opportunity proposals.
• Management of PO’s and invoices on Finance system to ensure they completed in a compliant manner and timeline.

Facilities

• To work closely with Contract Logistic Specialists, Administration staff, and suppliers.
• Ensure a best-in-class Health and safety standards are in place and maintained on the site
• To Oversee Safety walks and emergency evacuations drills.
• Own and develop a continuous improvements on processes and work instructions.
• Review procurement with the objective of improving services and reducing cost in a quality environment.
