About the role

PT BPT RESOURCES INDONESIA is seeking a talented Trading Operation Executive / Officer to join our dynamic team in Jakarta. This full-time role is integral to ensuring the efficient and effective management of our trading operations. As the Trading Operation Executive, you will play a key part in supporting our strategic objectives and driving the success of our business.

What you'll be doing

• Understand and manage commodity trading contracts.

• Communicate and negotiate contract terms with mines and customers.

• Arrange and monitor shipments and cargo delivery.

• Handle payments, L/C, DP/DA, invoices, and settlements.

• Check shipping documents and supplier invoices to ensure everything is correct.

• Coordinate vessels, insurance, port agents, loading and unloading. Calculate laytime, freight costs, and other related charges.

• Maintain good relationships with customers and suppliers.

• Work with Commercial, Risk, Finance, and Shipping teams to solve problems.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in International Trade, Maritime, Finance, Logistics, Business, Economics, or related fields.

• Fresh graduates are welcome; relevant internship experience is a plus.

• Fast learner and adaptable.

• Able to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.

• Proactive, responsible, and self-motivated.

• Good command of English and Chinese, both written and spoken.
