About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven Operations Supervisor to lead daily operational activities, ensure safety and quality standards, and support continuous improvement across our facility. This role requires a hands‑on leader who is actively present on the floor, able to drive accountability, and committed to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations to ensure productivity, quality, and safety targets are met.
• Lead and coach team members; provide ongoing feedback, training, and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate labor requirements, assign tasks, and manage workflow to meet production schedules.
• Maintain strong floor presence—monitor processes, resolve issues, and support operators directly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational standards.
• Track KPIs, analyze performance data, and report daily/weekly results.
• Oversee inventory handling, receiving, grading, processing, and shipping accuracy.
• Plan, execute, and monitor operational projects, including process improvements, equipment upgrades, workflow changes, and cross‑department initiatives.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful implementation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Investigate incidents, complete reports, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (maintenance, dispatch, admin, transport) to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory or lead‑hand experience in operations, manufacturing, logistics, or related environments.
• Engineering Degree is required.
• Strong understanding of equipment, machinery, or warehouse/yard processes.
• Proficiency with MS Office; experience with WMS or SAP is an asset.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work in fast‑paced environments and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to lift up to 40–70 lbs depending on operational requirements.
• Valid driver’s license may be required depending on site operations.
