Operations Officer

Job Duties:

• Undertake a wide range of daily operational activities covering planning, scheduling, and rostering so as to provide a reliable and accessible transport service for persons with disabilities.
• Assist the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor in coordinating vehicle maintenance arrangement with service providers as well as managing operational issues related to depots and carparks.
• Liaise with internal and external parties on matters affecting the safe and efficient operations of services.
• Monitor the performance of frontline bus captains and conduct investigations on non-compliant performance and handle customer feedbacks and complaints.
• Assist in the sustainable development of IT-based operations management system, including system revamp and participation as well as training to existing staff.
• Perform ad-hoc assignments and policy implementation duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Degree holder with minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience in transport / logistics industry (relevant working experience in customer service will be an advantage)
• A good team player with pleasant personality, good communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, strong organization skills, and able to work under pressure
• Strong analytical skills and creative thinking
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Proficient in MS Office including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing

The successful candidate will normally be appointed on contract terms. Renewal of contract will be subject to the service/operational needs of the department and the candidate’s performance.
