Operations Officer

Responsibilities

• Handle post-implementation broker and Wealth Management support, as well as daily system operation tasks, ensuring stable and efficient performance of trading systems
• Provide operational guidance and functional explanations to brokers, including trading workflows, settlement procedures, and system functionalities
• Independently identify, categorize, and assess issues; determine responsible modules and coordinate with Product, IT, and PM teams to ensure timely resolution
• Monitor system processes, detect anomalies, and coordinate internal teams for effective issue resolution
• Support troubleshooting of system-related and business-related issues covering Hong Kong and U.S. equities, account opening, funding, corporate actions, IPO and app usage
• Assist in incident handling, including root cause tracking, documentation and follow-up with stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. IT, Product) to enhance service efficiency and process improvements
• Utilize intelligent customer service tools and internal systems to enhance response efficiency and service quality
• Support audit, risk management and compliance requirements
• Willing to work on weekend if needed
• Assist in other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years' of experience in brokerage, wealth management or trading system operations
• Candidates with a background or strong understanding of the Wealth Management business is an advantage
• Strong communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Mandarin)
