Role Summary:

The Operations Officer will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of operational processes to meet regulatory requirements and uphold the highest standards of services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-on daily operational activities, ensuring seamless execution of trade settlements, reconciliations, and other key processes.
• Monitor and enhance operational workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize risk.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and automation.
• Process client funds transfers and shares transfers. Prepare and review regulatory filing requirements in collaboration with Finance and Compliance.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
• Mitigate operational risks by implementing and maintaining robust control mechanisms.
• Conduct regular audits to identify and address potential compliance issues.
• Work closely with client services and support teams to address client inquiries and concerns related to operations.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing the client experience through streamlined operational processes.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate and optimize technology solutions for operational efficiency.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
• Generate and analyze operational reports to track key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or a related field.
• Thorough understanding of brokerage operations, trade settlements, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• At least 3+ years of experience in the trading industry.
• Experience dealing with software development teams a plus.
• Trading experience a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
