Operations Officer (Loans)

This is a full-time on-site role located in Taguig for an Operations Officer at Shinhan Bank - Manila Branch. The Operations Officer role plays a vital part in supporting the overall operations of the Bank, and ensuring a smooth, compliant, and efficient internal process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare necessary loan documents for new loan origination, renewals, and maturity extensions including collateral.
• Support the approval process by preparing reports and analysis for credit decisions.
• Monitor and process monthly interest collections and principal repayments.
• Execute new loans and manage loan and guarantee maturities, ensuring timely renewal approvals and strict compliance monitoring.
• Track and report overdue or impaired loans and ensure proper action is taken.
• Checking and filing completeness of KYC documentation, and updating and maintaining client’s information and credit records.
• Manage end-to-end collateral documentation, including the inquiry, recording, and tracking of property appraisals, title annotations, and fire insurance coverage.
• Support the processing of internal fund transfers and loan-related activities.
• Respond to inquiries regarding deposit and loan products and account-related concerns.
• Ensure strict adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports related loan operations, as required.
• Perform other operations-related tasks as may be assigned by management.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Banking & Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration, or any related field.
• At least 1–3 years of relevant experience in bank operations, preferably handling both loans and deposit functions.
• Familiarity with BSP regulations, credit processing, and general banking procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel and Word).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
