Operations Officer, Ocean Import

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service Support

• Provide timely responses to customer rate requests and booking inquiries as required.
• Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure service excellence.

Ocean Import Operations (Intra-Asia) – 30%

• Manage ocean import shipments within the Intra-Asia trade lane.
• Handle shipment data entry, import declaration processing, billing, and documentation.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance throughout the import operation process.

Key Account Operations – 70%

• Manage operational activities for a designated key account with weekly billing requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate billing, data maintenance, and reporting.
• Maintain customer records and operational data through Excel-based tracking and monitoring.
• Support account requirements and ensure smooth day-to-day operational execution.

Requirements

• F5 / HKDSE or above

• 2-4 years' experience in freight forwarder, ocean export

• Able to work independent, self-motivation, diligent & good team player

• Highly committed to deliver results despite working deadline and overtime

• Hand on experience in operating Cargowise is an advantage

• Able to communicate in spoken & written English and Chinese, Mandarin is required

• Proficient in computer skills, MS Office application, Office 365, Outlook etc.

• Short notice is highly preferred
