Operations Officer (Risk)

Identify, analyze, treat and monitor possible inadequacies and/ or failures in any one or combination of people, processes, information technology and systems or threats from external events that the Bank faces in its daily operations through implementation of various Operational Risk Management Tools.

Responsibilities

Recommends Operational Risk Management policies, procedures and methodologies tailored fit for the bank’s daily operational activities and business environment.

Implements Operational Risk Management Tools to effectively identify, analyze, treat and monitor operational risk.

Recommend to the Board of Directors and Senior Management appropriate policies and procedures relating to operational risk management and controls; Formulate / Recommend Risk Management Framework, Risk Limits

Design and implement the bank’s operational risk assessment methodology tools and risk reporting system

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field

• 4+ years of experience in operational risk, compliance, internal audit, or risk management within the banking or financial services industry

• Strong knowledge of operational risk frameworks, internal controls, banking regulations, and risk mitigation practices

• Experience in risk assessment, incident reporting, and process improvement initiatives

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to risk and compliance management
