Operations Planner

Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership of the ABJV operational planning system of which details the production, maintenance, integrity and marine planned activities, resource planning and scope readiness.
• Responsibility for issuing 28-day and 90-day asset plans, ensuring they are as accurate and up-to-date as practicable. Prepare and issue week 5-8 plan detailing activities of which are due to move into 28-day plan imminently.
• Ownership of ABJV integrated 8-quarter plan – updated and presented monthly
• Work closely with all offshore and onshore personnel; discussing updates with onshore and offshore job sponsors to ensure plan readiness, delivery and ultimately attainment. Provide additional support as required.
• Continuous liaison with offshore maintenance (CMMS) planners; projecting SIMOPS between asset plan activities, safety critical maintenance and resourcing. Solution planning thereof with the target of zero outstanding safety critical backlog.
• Work with offshore maintenance (CMMS) planners in the development of yearly asset plan activities, in particular projected vendor mobilisations.
• Notify relevant job sponsors and/or vendors of changes to their planning tasks i.e. logistical changes.
• Drive to ensure adequate bed and flight utilisation, identifying areas required to support this i.e. additional flight requirements etc.
• Consult as required with onshore supply chain management team and/or vendors as to any queries with information such as purchase order/requisition numbers, work pack details etc. Liaise with expediting (buying) team to ensure timely delivery of scope materials and/or spare parts.
• Facilitate weekly planning meeting, issuing approved plans following. Ensure all tasks, deadlines and milestones are included within issued plans.
• Development and periodic update of longer-term strategic business plans, including 8Q and 5 yearly asset plans, in line with integrated planning procedure.
• Provide support for L4 detailed plans for larger scopes
• Where required, assist with shutdown planning; including pit-stops, train outages and longer term planned production outages.
• Where applicable, participate in yearly budgeting discussions, cost control/forecasting and planning thereof.
• Provide Plan attainment feedback (KPI) as required to Technical Manager.
• Participate in meetings with other on-site personnel/vendors as and when required.
• Perform any other duties as reasonably required.

• Attend all mandatory training.
• Safeguard all company data, systems and operations by adhering to cybersecurity policies and procedures, including using strong and unique passwords, and promptly reporting any suspicious activities or security breaches.
