Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead cross-functional governance structures by defining, appointing, and guiding Process Owners and Process Stewards within the planning domain.
  • Drive organizational transformation initiatives by enabling process adoption, capability development, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead the redesign and enhancement of the Order Confirmation Engine in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to ensure customer order commitments are based on validated material and capacity availability.
  • Drive functional and system improvements that prevent unverified auto-commitments and support accurate first-time order confirmations.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve advanced Available-to-Promise (ATP) and Capable-to-Promise (CTP) capabilities within the planning ecosystem.
  • Develop and deploy constrained planning models that incorporate material, bill of materials (BOM), production capacity, machine, and labor constraints before order confirmation.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Supply Chain and IT, translating planning requirements into system enhancements and overseeing solution design, testing, deployment, and global rollout activities.
  • Ensure alignment and integration of business processes and IT systems through close collaboration with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and facilitate stakeholder meetings to prioritize, plan, and monitor process and system enhancements in D365 and related applications.
  • Approve solution designs and support governance processes for new system developments.
  • Coordinate system releases, testing activities, defect resolution, and deployment readiness in partnership with business and IT teams.
  • Govern the documentation and continuous improvement of the Target Operating Model (TOM), ensuring processes are translated into scalable standards, policies, and frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain training materials and support organizational learning in collaboration with Process Owners, Process Stewards, and trainers.
  • Define, implement, and monitor KPIs to measure process performance, compliance, adoption, and effectiveness.
  • Establish and oversee reporting standards to ensure harmonized performance reporting across all locations.
  • Conduct internal audits to verify compliance, identify improvement opportunities, and support process excellence.
  • Lead continuous process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies, implementing corrective actions, and monitoring business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with process owners, managers, and functional leaders to ensure planning processes remain efficient, compliant, scalable, and aligned with business priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent English communication skills required; German language skills are advantageous.
  • Proven experience in a comparable role within business excellence, process management, or business transformation.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and enterprise IT environments.
  • Deep knowledge of global ERP systems, particularly MRP functionality, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
  • Experience leading business process standardization, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives in a global environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex cross-functional stakeholders and drive organizational change.
  • Experience overseeing system enhancements, solution design reviews, testing activities, and release management processes.
  • Strong capability to translate technical concepts and system requirements into clear business language.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to align process and system initiatives to business goals.
  • Effective collaboration skills and the ability to build productive partnerships across functions and regions.
  • Strong technical understanding of business systems, planning processes, and process governance frameworks.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
