ABOUT THE COMPANY
We’re redefining the future of menswear — with performance-driven apparel that looks sharp, feels great, and works in real life. Every stitch, click, and conversation is a chance to raise the bar. We act like owners, never settle for average, and move with urgency. At Jack Archer, we’re a team of builders, united by intention and an obsession with delivering for our customers. Come join us and do the best work of your career!
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Jack Archer is growing fast, and operations sit at the center of it. While we keep delivering for our own customers and wholesale partners like Nordstrom and Macy's, we're also building Fulfilled by Jack (FBJ), our fulfillment and logistics business for other brands. It's a new revenue stream where every client brings new integrations and new problems to solve.
We're looking for an Operations Project Manager to keep Jack Archer's operations running at a high standard while helping FBJ scale. For Jack Archer, success means orders flow reliably from Shopify through fulfillment, new products go live with partners without avoidable delays, and wholesale POs become accurate, fulfillable orders. For FBJ, it means clients have a responsive operations partner, every client launches with tested order, shipping, returns, and billing processes, and we can see whether each one is billed correctly and operating profitably.
You'll own projects end to end, zooming in on the details (why a SKU isn't syncing, why a PO doesn't match an invoice) and zooming out to decide which fire matters most. This isn't a role that stays in one swim lane: you'll roll up your sleeves on ad hoc projects across the company as needs come up. It's for someone who has worked across supply chain, merchandising, or wholesale, understands how systems connect, uses data and AI to keep improving how we work, and wants real ownership.
Reporting to the CFO, you’ll work closely with our fulfillment, wholesale and finance teams to keep Jack Archer’s operations running reliably and help FBJ scale profitably.
This role is based in our New York City headquarters and operates on a hybrid schedule, with in-office collaboration Tuesday through Thursday. We believe our best creative work happens when we're building side by side, while still allowing flexibility outside of core in-office days.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Keep Jack Archer orders flowing: own the path from Shopify through fulfillment, monitor for issues, and work with our WMS partners (e.g., ShipBob) to resolve sync, order, and integration problems quickly.
- Launch products with wholesale and marketplace partners: manage catalog setup for Nordstrom, Macy's, and new partners, resolve listing rejections, and keep new product launches on schedule.
- Turn wholesale POs into fulfillable orders: make sure every PO is entered accurately, routed correctly, and shipped as committed.
- Onboard and support FBJ clients: be each client's day-to-day operations contact through onboarding and ongoing issues, and launch them with tested order, shipping, returns, and billing processes.
- Track FBJ billing and profitability: confirm each client is billed correctly against their rate card, and work with Finance to monitor account profitability and resolve billing or cost issues.
- Improve how we work, and pitch in where needed: use data and AI to automate routine work and sharpen processes, and take on ad hoc projects across the business.
WHAT YOU HAVE
- Cross-functional operations experience across at least two of: supply chain / 3PL / fulfillment, merchandising, and wholesale, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment. Experience onboarding clients at a 3PL or fulfillment provider is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with core e-commerce systems: Shopify, a warehouse management system (e.g., ShipBob), and returns software (e.g., Redo, Loop), including setting up or testing integrations between them. Experience with marketplace or wholesale platforms (e.g., Mirakl, NuORDER) is a plus.
- Data fluency: you're comfortable pulling and analyzing data (SQL or similar), building simple reports, and knowing what questions to ask. Comfort turning contracts and rate cards into billing logic is a plus.
- Uses AI to improve processes: you use AI tools day to day to analyze problems, automate routine work, and make processes faster and more reliable.
- Systems understanding: you know how e-commerce systems connect and can troubleshoot integration issues directly with partners and vendors. Familiarity with APIs and data schemas is a plus.
- End-to-end ownership: you can zoom into the details, zoom out to the whole process, triage competing fires, and drive projects to completion with minimal direction.
