The Role

The Operations Queue Analyst facilitates the flow of Radiology studies through the PACS system, ensuring the studies are assigned to the Radiologists and reported in a timely manner. This is a full time, remote position with a schedule of Thursday-Monday 12:00pm-8:30pm CST.

Job Functions

• Monitor all incoming volume and radiologist schedules to efficiently manage all radiology studies
• Ensures turnaround times are met according to the client’s contractual times
• Document all communication and action taken on individual studies
• Manage Level One auto-assignment settings
• Provide ongoing, timely communication between Radiologists, operations, and all sites to ensure study completeness
• Maintain open communication with the Radiologists, Operations staff, and management
• Additional project-based responsibilities

• Possess an in-depth understanding of radiology medical terms, concepts, procedures, and study modalities
• Experience monitoring and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications Preferred

• Graduate from an ARRT accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• Registered Radiology Technologist. (R(RT))
• 2+ years of Customer Support
• 2+ years of telephone-based customer support
