Role Description The Operations Representative is a full-time remote role responsible for coordinating and supporting day-to-day logistics and supply chain activities. This role includes managing shipment bookings, tracking and tracing cargo, and ensuring accurate documentation for domestic and international movements. The Operations Representative will interface with customers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve issues, provide shipment status updates, and maintain high service standards. Additional responsibilities include assisting with billing and basic financial checks, maintaining data integrity in operational systems, and supporting continuous process improvements. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across terminals and partner organizations to help deliver reliable, efficient, and compliant logistics services.

• Strong analytical skills to interpret shipment data, identify issues, and support operational decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills for clear, professional interaction with customers, carriers, and internal teams.
• Proven customer service abilities, including responsiveness, problem-solving, and relationship-building in a service-driven environment.
• Basic understanding of sales and account support, with the ability to identify service opportunities and collaborate with commercial teams.
• Foundational finance skills for reviewing invoices, supporting billing accuracy, and handling routine transactional queries.
• Relevant experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain operations, or a similar field is preferred.
• Proficiency with standard office software and the ability to learn logistics/operations systems quickly.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote work environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, logistics, or a related discipline is an advantage.
