Operations - Settlement Manager

Responsibilities:

• Execute daily clearing for global market investment product (A-shares, HK/US stocks, etc.) and related booking/fund processing, handle derivative events, manage special clearing items;
• Handle IPO and placement operations and related preparation and reporting works;
• Handle daily clearing and management work for fund subscriptions,  redemptions and related tasks;
• Perform end-of-day clearing for securities/funds arising from trades, facilitate settlement coordination between front office/product teams with exchanges/counterparties;
• Verify daily clearing data, investigate and resolve discrepancies;
• Sound Knowledge for securities lending & market making;
• Drive process automation, functional enhancements, and system upgrades;
• Assist in establishing robust clearing risk control frameworks;
• Execute daily data collection, reporting, and discrepancy resolution;
• Provide assistance to the team on different settlement tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or related field;
• 5 years or above of experience in securities operations/clearing roles;
• Familiarity with clearing practice and related regulatory rules in global market;
• Sound knowledge in settlement processing and operation of clearing systems;
• Proactive in taking responsibilities and be able to multi-task;
• Fluency in Cantonese, English and Mandarin is an advantage.
