Operations Specialist - Cards

Role:
This role is responsible for supporting the integrity of the institutions card operations; overseeing daily debit and credit card servicing, and ensuring seamless processing, compliance, and risk mitigation. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where analytical skills and problem solving are essential for success.

• Handles day-to-day debit and credit card operation, balancing, and reporting functions. Reviews reports, monitors activity, and compiles settlement sheets for daily balancing. Verifies accuracy in totals and transactions posted.

• Contributes to answering inbound department calls. Researches problems or questions from members, completes account and card maintenance.

• Addresses card compromises, and manages fraud and dispute claims. Communicates with members on status and appropriate guidance. Monitors activity for fraud prevention and detection measures, identifying suspicious activity and escalating issues as needed. Requires tact and demeanor.

• Suggests and assists in implementing procedural changes within department to increase efficiency and/or quality of service. Performs other duties as assigned. Contributes to overall organizational strategies and goals.

• Acts as back up to VP of Operations and Operations Specialist - Deposit. May assist in ACH originations and maintenance, shared draft processing, and daily bill payment review.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
