Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) standards.
• Manage spreadsheets and data analysis tasks related to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Support mergers & acquisitions activities by conducting due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration planning.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including industry-specific standards and tax accounting requirements.
• Collaborate with accounting teams to audit financial records, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
• Utilize financial software tools to streamline workflows, generate reports, and support regulatory compliance efforts.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to clarify financial data, provide updates, and address inquiries related to operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in finance or accounting roles with a strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel spreadsheets for data analysis and modeling.
• Demonstrated ability to develop financial models and conduct detailed analysis for various projects.
• Knowledge of industry regulations affecting financial operations, including tax accounting standards.
• Experience with financial software platforms used for reporting, auditing, or compliance purposes.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and cross-departmental collaboration.
• Industry knowledge of mergers & acquisitions processes is a plus, along with familiarity with auditing procedures.

Pay: $52.97 - $68.74 per hour
