Operations Specialist

The Operations Specialist is responsible for managing daily freight brokerage operations, coordinating shipments between customers and carriers, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring freight moves efficiently, safely, and on schedule. This position requires strong communication, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to develop and maintain a profitable book of business.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, has experience in logistics, freight brokerage, or transportation, and brings an established portfolio of customers or business relationships to the company.

• Bilingual fluency: Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
• Established client base: Must bring an existing book of business or established customer relationships that can generate freight opportunities.
• Industry experience: Previous experience in freight brokerage, logistics, transportation, dispatch, or account management is strongly preferred.
• Communication: Excellent negotiation, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
• Organization: Ability to manage multiple shipments, clients, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Technology: Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, transportation management systems, and freight load boards.
• Problem-solving: Ability to make decisions independently and resolve time-sensitive operational issues.
• Professionalism: Strong work ethic, accountability, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Pay: $49,300.00 - $59,500.00 per year
