24/7 Trading Operations | Institutional Digital Asset Trading Platform

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to join our Operations team and support the day-to-day operations of our institutional digital asset trading platform.

We are a Hong Kong-licensed financial technology platform serving institutional clients, including banks, licensed brokers and fund managers.

In this role, you will be involved in real-time platform monitoring, trading and custody operations, incident handling and operational process improvement. You will work closely with Technology, Product, Risk and Compliance teams to ensure the platform operates safely, efficiently and reliably.

This is an opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to institutional digital asset trading operations and grow alongside a developing financial technology business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Trading & Platform Operations

• Support daily trading platform operations, including monitoring order flows, trade execution, settlement and reconciliation processes.
• Monitor platform activities and key operational indicators to identify potential issues or unusual trading activities.
• Assist in handling operational exceptions and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
• Support 24/7 trading operations, including shift handovers and operational reporting.

2. Incident Handling & Risk Controls

• Identify, investigate and escalate trading, custody or system-related operational issues.
• Coordinate with Technology, Risk, Compliance and other relevant teams to resolve incidents efficiently.
• Follow established operational procedures and internal controls to maintain platform stability.
• Maintain accurate records of operational incidents, exceptions and follow-up actions.

3. Operational Process Improvement

• Assist in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs), operational workflows and related documentation.
• Identify inefficiencies or recurring issues in daily operations and propose practical improvements.
• Support system upgrades, testing, new feature launches and operational process enhancements.
• Work with Product and Technology teams to improve operational efficiency, monitoring tools and automation.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers on operational matters.
• Support trading, custody, settlement and other related operational activities.
• Prepare daily operational reports and provide timely updates on issues and progress.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant work experience in operations, trading support, financial services, fintech or related fields.
• Experience in the cryptocurrency / digital asset industry is preferred, particularly in crypto exchanges, trading platforms, custody or wallet operations.
• Basic understanding of trading operations, order execution, settlement, reconciliation or related financial processes.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with a proactive and hands-on working attitude.
• Willingness to learn new systems, take ownership of assigned tasks and adapt to a fast-paced startup environment.
• Comfortable working in a 24/7 operational environment, including shift arrangements when required.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Information Technology or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with cryptocurrency exchanges, digital asset trading, blockchain transactions or custody operations.
• Experience in operational monitoring, incident handling, reconciliation or SOP documentation.
• Exposure to trading systems, operational dashboards, data analysis or workflow automation.
