Operations Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Warehouse Management

• Supervise daily warehouse, logistics, and delivery operations within the assigned area.
• Ensure proper receiving, storage, handling, and dispatch of products.
• Monitor cold chain compliance for frozen and perishable products.
• Implement inventory control procedures, including FIFO, stock rotation, and regular physical counts.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and report variances, damages, and losses.
• Ensure proper warehouse housekeeping, storage layout, and equipment usage.

Logistics & Distribution

• Coordinate with drivers, helpers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Assist in route planning, delivery scheduling, and vehicle utilization monitoring.
• Ensure delivery documents such as DRs, invoices, and gate passes are complete and properly recorded.

Production & Order Coordination

• Coordinate with Production and Head Office teams regarding order requirements, delivery schedules, and stock availability.
• Ensure prepared and dispatched products meet required quantity, quality, and packaging standards.

Team Leadership

• Supervise warehouse staff, drivers, helpers, and other assigned operations personnel.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, and compliance with company policies.
• Provide on-the-job coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to team members.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Enforce food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), company SOPs, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Assist during internal audits, inspections, and corrective action implementation.

Issue Resolution & Reporting

• Address day-to-day operational issues and escalate unresolved concerns to the Operations Manager.
• Prepare regular reports on inventory status, delivery performance, incidents, and operational issues.
• Document incidents, deviations, and corrective actions taken.
• Perform other operations-related duties as assigned by the Head of Operations.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years of experience in operations, warehouse, logistics, distribution, or a related field.
• Supervisory experience managing warehouse, logistics, delivery, or operations teams is preferred.
• Experience in food distribution, meat, poultry, frozen food, FMCG, or cold chain operations is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory management, warehouse processes, and distribution operations.
• Familiarity with FIFO/FEFO, GMP, food safety, and cold chain management is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Willing to be based in the Visayas area and conduct regular on-ground operational activities.
• Willing to travel within the assigned area as required.
